Jan Grobler (Bcomm.LLB.MBA) moved from an early career as barrister to a 15-year stretch as a small-to-medium enterprise (SME) consultant, venture partner, and project manager.

Jan pioneered franchising the biggest network of multi-disciplinary professional practices on the African continent. Positioned as a one-stop business building service the franchisees helped commercialise hundreds of SMEs in high-impact project teams over the last decade. As a venture partner, Jan owned shares and acted in executive capacity in businesses in wellness, diamond mining, payroll administration, game farming, vending, insurance broking, leadership development, fast food, exports, and software development.

Jan combines his legal and business savvy to franchise businesses (12 concepts so far), raise capital (100+ deal log), go international, create new channel partners and exit successfully. Jan has an investor and business network thru associates in the UK, US, South Africa, and Singapore.

Since immigrating to Sydney, Australia in 2008, Jan has focused on cross-border transactions and building a mobile phone marketing and business solutions office for a global provider of mobile innovations. Jan is a networker and deal maker who lives by the maxims "structure follows strategy" and "if you think advisors are expensive, try failure!"
