As Marketing Director based in Hong Kong, he managed the Asian-wide marketing
activities of an ICT company. From 1989 to 1994, the company opened
operations in 13 Asian countries employing over 200 staff. The revenues grew
from US$40M to $300M at the time of the IPO in Singapore in 1993. The
IPO capitalised the company in excess of US$600M.
As President & CEO, based in Perth, he managed the start up and international
expansion of a company involved in development of digital media imaging
technology in the entertainment industry. The company achieved a backdoor IPO
in Canada in 1994. Capital was raised from investors in USA, UK, and
Australia and included investments from several market leading multinational corporations. The company achieved a market capitalisation of $260M
in early 2000 when Bob left the company.
Bob has an extensive global network for marketing and distribution, having
established and managed over 25 sales, marketing, distribution, and R&D
facilities across numerous countries. During this period, he negotiated
numerous supply, licensing, R&D contracts and alliances with global
corporations. He has also been involved in implemented substantial capital
raising strategies (including IPO) in North America, Asia, UK, and
Australia.
